Crash games: how they work and the odds of each multiplier
In a crash game a multiplier climbs from ×1.00 until it “crashes” at a random point; stop before that and you get the chips at that multiplier, but if the round crashes before your stop, the stake is lost. On IS Casino the chance of a round reaching ×x is exactly RTP ÷ x — at 96% RTP, 48% of rounds reach ×2.

How a round works
- During the entry phase you choose your stake in virtual chips and, optionally, an automatic stop.
- The round starts: the multiplier climbs in real time, the same for everyone in the room.
- You stop manually at any moment, or the automatic stop does it for you.
- The crash point was fixed before the round; its hash was published and the key is revealed at the end.
The formula
Crash point = floor(100 × RTP ÷ (1 − r)) ÷ 100, where r is a verifiable random number between 0 and 1, capped at ×1,000. That gives the core property: the probability of the round reaching ×x is RTP ÷ x, for any x. Since stopping at x returns x × (RTP ÷ x) = RTP, every stop has the same 96% RTP.
| Stop at | Chance to reach | Return |
|---|---|---|
| ×1.01 | 95.05% | 96% |
| ×1.5 | 64.00% | 96% |
| ×2 | 48.00% | 96% |
| ×3 | 32.00% | 96% |
| ×5 | 19.20% | 96% |
| ×10 | 9.60% | 96% |
| ×50 | 1.92% | 96% |
| ×100 | 0.960% | 96% |
| ×1,000 | 0.096% | 96% |
About 5% of rounds crash before ×1.01 (1 − 0.96 ÷ 1.01 = 4.95%).
What this means in practice
- There is no “best” target: ×1.5 and ×50 have the same RTP; only the volatility changes.
- Previous rounds do not matter: every point comes from a new seed. A run of low crashes does not make a high one more likely.
- The automatic stop is exact: it uses the target multiplier, regardless of your connection speed.
- Verified: in a 10-million-round simulation per game, every stop from ×1.01 to ×1,000 fell inside the 99.9% interval around 96%.
Lambo Soon, Pilot and Limbo
Lambo Soon (a car) and Pilot (a plane) are shared crash games: everyone plays the same round. Limbo is the instant, individual version: you pick the target, the result comes at once (RTP ÷ (1 − r)) and the chance follows the same formula, at 97% RTP with a maximum target of ×1,000,000.
